OpenAI has begun a global rollout of GPT-6 inside ChatGPT, the company announced. The update pairs the new model with what OpenAI calls Intelligent UI, a layer that changes how responses are presented and used.
With Intelligent UI, ChatGPT responses become faster and include visuals and interactive elements that users can explore and use directly, rather than reading static text. OpenAI says the experience is designed for direct use, meaning charts, controls, or other UI components can be manipulated within the conversation.
That is the extent of what OpenAI has disclosed so far: no benchmark figures, no technical specifications, and no timeline for when the rollout will be complete. The announcement positions GPT-6 primarily as a consumer-facing shift toward more graphical and interactive AI interactions.
