Together AI has released Together Link, a command-line tool that lets developers use open models inside the coding agents and desktop apps they already rely on. The tool is free and MIT-licensed, and it supports Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, and the Claude and ChatGPT desktop applications.
Setup is a single install command, and the tool includes an Auto router that selects a model for each session. That means developers can point their usual tools at open models such as Kimi K3 and GLM 5.3 without manually configuring each environment.
The release is notable because it lowers the friction for teams that want to experiment with open-weight models while keeping their existing workflows. By plugging into popular agents and desktop apps, Together Link offers a practical bridge between proprietary tooling and the open model ecosystem.
