Apple TV has been inaccessible since the afternoon of September 30, according to a report from Engadget. The streaming service went down at 4:43 PM ET, and while other Apple services experienced similar disruptions, most were back online within a few hours. Apple TV, however, remains unavailable.

Apple's System Status page lists the issue as "scheduled maintenance," but the company has not explained why this service is taking longer to restore than the others. The outage also affected the iOS and Mac App Stores, Fitness+, Music, and subscriptions and AppleCare+ purchases, all of which have since recovered.

As of the latest update, there is no word on when Apple TV will return to normal. The prolonged downtime is notable because it affects access to popular content such as the latest episode of Ted Lasso, leaving subscribers unable to stream while the company works on the problem.
