Baseus has announced the Security PrimeSentinel U2 Pro Outdoor 3K Dual Camera, the latest addition to its AI-assisted security lineup. Unlike conventional cameras that simply record and send alerts, this model is designed to actively discourage unwanted visitors by using a spotlight that tracks and follows moving targets.

The camera still provides 3K dual-lens outdoor surveillance, but the new spotlight adds a proactive layer. Rather than waiting for a user to react to a notification, the camera can respond in real time by directing a visible beam at a person or object in its view.

That shift from passive recording to active deterrence is the product's main significance. The tracking spotlight gives the camera a way to intervene in a situation, not just document it. Baseus positions the device as part of a more assertive approach to home security, where the camera itself takes a visible role in discouraging intruders.
