Zenithon, a London-based AI lab, has raised $10 million in a round led by Backed, with participation from Lunar, Seraphim, MMC, and SOSV. The company is building world models designed to simulate extreme physical phenomena, such as high-speed collisions and fluid dynamics, which are difficult to model with traditional approaches.
The funding will be used to expand the team and accelerate development of its technology. Zenithon's models are intended to help robotics and other industries handle scenarios that involve extreme conditions, where accurate simulation is critical for safety and performance.
According to the company, the technology addresses a gap in current AI systems, which often struggle with the complexity of real-world physics. The investors see potential in applying these models beyond research, particularly in autonomous systems and industrial applications. The round reflects growing interest in AI that can reason about the physical world, not just process language or images.
