According to The Information, the headline hardware could be a new pair of camera-free smart glasses unofficially dubbed "Luna." The device reportedly includes six microphones to support Meta's AI chatbot and its new personal AI agent, Muse. The move comes after months of backlash over privacy concerns with Meta's existing camera-equipped glasses, which prompted software updates that disable cameras when the indicator LED is blocked.
The event may also bring the official reveal of a slimmer mixed reality headset codenamed "Project Phoenix," though it may not ship this year. Meta's agenda includes sessions on VR, AI glasses, and Horizon, suggesting a broad push across its hardware and software ecosystem.
