Microsoft has disclosed pricing for its upcoming pay-as-you-go Xbox Cloud Gaming tier. Starting today, Xbox Insiders without Game Pass can buy cloud-hour packs at introductory prices: 10 hours for $3.99, 25 hours for $7.99, and 50 hours for $11.99. The company previously announced that anyone would be able to use the service in November without a Game Pass subscription.

According to The Verge, purchased hours are not monthly allowances; a pack stays available until the hours are used. All bundles include ad-free streaming, shorter wait times, and higher-quality streaming. Microsoft is also separately testing free, ad-supported cloud gaming for Insiders, limited to games they already own and capped at one-hour sessions.

The timing is notable because Microsoft has secured streaming rights for Grand Theft Auto VI. The Verge reports that it is unclear whether those rights are limited to Xbox consoles, and Microsoft's chief strategy officer Matthew Ball said on X that the game will not be streamed to PCs through the service.
