Nacon has introduced the Revolution 5 Unlimited, a PS5 controller it claims is the first officially licensed gamepad with a built-in screen. The display lets players adjust joystick sensitivity, remap buttons, and mix audio from a phone and console while using wired headphones. It is available for preorder at $229.99 and expected to ship later this year.

The controller is aimed at the premium accessory segment, with a list of customizable hardware features. It uses drift-resistant TMR thumbsticks in an asymmetrical layout, swappable stick heads and D-pad, adjustable trigger travel, and optional weights for the grips. Four back buttons and two shoulder shortcut buttons add further control options.

Beyond the PS5, the R5U works with PCs and Android devices. A companion mobile app extends customization to thumbstick response curves, EQ profiles, and RGB lighting. The combination of on-device screen and app-based tuning gives Nacon a distinct feature set in a crowded market for high-end gamepads.
