The OhSnap Wallet 2 is a magnetic phone wallet that attaches to the back of a device and uses a springy lever to fan out cards. Its standout feature is a fully tool-less modular system: users can press in the right place to separate the wallet and swap between 3-, 5-, or 7-card cores, as well as change front and back magnetic plates for options like an ID holder, money clip, or thin aluminum covers.

In a hands-on review, The Verge's Sean Hollister calls it "the coolest wallet I've ever stuck to my phone," highlighting the clever compliant mechanism that locks the modular pieces together and keeps the wallet from opening accidentally. However, he notes that the "impossibly thin" claim only truly applies to the 3-card variant without the thicker MagSafe and MagStack plates attached.

The downsides, he says, are weight and price. The 7-card version adds 127 grams, making his phone feel too heavy, while the 3-card version with a double-magnet kit would cost $61 on Kickstarter or $76 at retail. Extras like an ID cover or money clip run $35 each, which he calls more than he'd like. Hollister says he didn't buy one for himself, but he could see giving it as a present.
