Pandora is raising prices on its paid tiers by at least $1 a month, following Spotify and other streaming services. In a September 2026 email, the SiriusXM-owned company said the increase takes effect for new subscribers from Sept. 22 and for current subscribers from their next billing cycle starting Oct. 22. Pandora said the update allows continued investment in personalization, recommendations, reliability, and access to music and podcasts, adding "we haven't made this decision lightly."

Pandora Plus now costs $5.99 per month or $65.89 per year, while Pandora Premium costs $11.99 per month or $131.89 per year. Premium Family is $19.99 per month or $219.89 per year. The free tier remains ad-supported. Subscribers can switch tiers before their next billing cycle, and cancellations return users to Pandora Free.

Prices vary for subscribers who signed up through third-party stores. Apple customers will pay $6.99 for Plus and $14.99 for Premium; Google Play customers pay $6.99 and $12.99. Amazon Appstore and Roku subscribers get lower rates, with Plus at $4.99 and Premium at $10.99. Engadget noted that Pandora Premium still offers fewer premium features and more compressed streaming quality than some competitors.
