Both The Verge and WIRED report that Samsung's 2026 55-inch Frame TV has fallen to its lowest price ever. The Verge lists it at $897.99 at Amazon, while WIRED cites $898 — effectively the same number. The deal is $402 off the standard retail price, according to The Verge.

The TV's appeal is its dual role as a display and a piece of decor: a matte, canvas-like screen shows artwork when idle, with a motion sensor and ambient-light adjustment. Both outlets agree the standard Frame is not built for maximum picture quality; WIRED says it reaches about 650 nits, while the pricier Frame Pro offers nearly double the brightness and a wireless connect box. The Verge notes the 2026 standard model now has built-in ports instead of Samsung's separate One Connect Box.

WIRED also points to the Hisense CanvasTV S7N at $750, making it the cheapest art TV on sale, though it is even dimmer than the standard Frame. The two sources differ on timing: The Verge simply promotes the current discount, while WIRED notes that last year's Frame models hit their lowest prices during Black Friday, so waiting could bring even bigger savings.
