Scimplify, a Bengaluru-based startup founded in 2023, has raised $25 million in an all-equity strategic round led by Hitachi Ventures. Customers Henkel and Teknor Apex participated, along with existing backers. The company uses its AI platform Scinode to coordinate chemical process development and manufacturing across a network of more than 500 facilities, aiming to compress timelines from 12–18 months to as little as two months.

The funding values Scimplify at $250 million post-money, according to a person familiar with the transaction, though the company declined to confirm. Total equity funding is now $80 million. The startup says it has reached an annualized revenue run rate of about $200 million, tripling from a year earlier, with the US market growing sixfold to $60 million. Energy, electronics, and defense now account for roughly half of revenue, up from under 15% a year ago.

Scimplify is targeting a $400 million annualized revenue run rate within a year and says it has been EBITDA-positive for two months, expecting after-tax profitability this month. It plans to spend $7.5 million on US expansion and $2 million on Scinode, and is working on tungsten derivatives and rare earths as alternatives to Chinese supply. Most manufacturing remains in India, with expansion into the US and Japan planned over the next year.
