Slush, the Helsinki-based tech event, has published its first-ever 20U20 list, highlighting 20 teenagers who are building the next generation of tech startups. The list aims to bring young founders and developers into the spotlight and connect them with the wider startup ecosystem.

According to Sifted, the honorees come from across Europe and have already shown notable traction—some have launched products, while others have raised venture funding at a young age. Slush’s CEO said the list is less about measuring success and more about signalling early promise, noting that many of those selected are still balancing their startups with school.

The announcement is part of Slush’s broader push to lower barriers for young entrepreneurs. By naming the inaugural cohort, the event hopes to encourage more teenagers to pursue technical projects and company-building before they reach university or traditional career paths.
