Sony has confirmed that its PlayStation Pulse wireless headset will launch on November 19 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and more than a dozen other countries, with pre-orders opening October 29. According to Engadget, the headset costs $100 and is available in white and midnight black.

The Pulse uses larger planar magnetic drivers than Sony's earlier Pulse Elite, which the company says produces fuller, deeper bass while retaining clean sound and improving spatial accuracy for directional cues in games. The headset also includes Bluetooth and PlayStation Link connectivity for supported devices such as the PS5, PlayStation Portal, Mac and PC, and its microphone has AI-enhanced noise rejection. At $100, it costs $50 less than the Pulse Elite.

Sony has a higher-end Pulse Edge model planned for 2027, and it will start shipping its $220 Pulse Elevate wireless speakers next month. Availability in countries outside the initial launch list is expected to be announced later.
