Swedish digital health startup Yazen has raised €50m in fresh funding, in a round led by Verdane. The company plans to use the capital to expand its weight loss platform across Europe, according to a report from Sifted.
Yazen combines GLP-1 medication with lifestyle coaching, and has seen rapid revenue growth. The company reported €5.6m in revenue in 2023, up from €1.0m in 2022, a year-on-year increase of over 200%.
A representative for the company emphasised the need for a long-term approach to weight management, rather than a quick fix. The new funding will support Yazen's continued expansion and development of its platform.
