According to Electrek, the Hunter WOLF is an autonomous 6x6 military vehicle developed by BLADE and selected for the US Army's Infantry Last Tactical Mile (ILTM) program. The initiative aims to modernize infantry support, and the Hunter WOLF is pitched as a way to haul supplies and support casualty evacuation over difficult terrain without a human driver.
The vehicle uses an undisclosed number of electric motors—likely three—delivering a combined 97 kW (about 130 hp). It rides on run-flat airless Tweels and has a low center of gravity, allowing it to climb 60% grades and traverse 40% side slopes. For silent movement, its batteries support more than 12 km (7.5 miles) of off-road operation before a JP-8 diesel generator recharges the pack on the move, pushing total range past 200 miles.
The source notes that while the Hunter WOLF is framed as a logistics and medevac platform, imagery also shows it fitted with a 30 mm Bushmaster cannon. BLADE Robotics president Tom Van Doren said the vehicle is "battle-tested and field-proven" for the most dangerous and logistically complex parts of the battlefield. Electrek's report does not compare the Hunter WOLF with other ILTM projects, so no independent assessment of its performance or cost is available.
