The 2027 BMW i3 and iX3, both built on BMW's Neue Klasse platform, share a starting price of $61,500. The electric sedan and SUV also share an 800V system, Gen6 eDrive technology, and a 108.7 kWh battery, with the i3 offering up to 468 miles of range and the iX3 up to 434 miles.

BMW's payment estimator, however, reveals a notable gap in lease costs. With $4,999 due at signing for a 36-month lease, the i3 50 xDrive is estimated at $784 per month, while the iX3 50 xDrive comes to $862 per month—a difference of $78.

The discrepancy comes down to incentives. The iX3 currently has an advertised 4.99% APR for 60 months and a $500 loyalty discount, while the i3, which went on sale only about two weeks ago, has no advertised special lease cash or APR yet. BMW's current offers run through November 2, and the automaker is expected to introduce i3 promotions shortly.
