BMW has started US deliveries of the 2027 iX3, its first Neue Klasse electric SUV, a week earlier than planned. The company cites strong customer demand, with more than 100,000 orders already placed in Europe. The base iX3 50 xDrive starts at $61,500 and carries an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles.

To encourage early buyers, BMW is offering a $500 loyalty discount on purchases or leases. No trade-in is required, and the discount can be passed to family members in the same household. BMW is also advertising a 4.99% APR for 60 months, which can be combined with the loyalty offer. No dedicated lease incentive has been introduced yet; BMW's payment estimator shows $861 per month for a 36-month lease with $4,999 due at signing.

The iX3 undercuts the Porsche Macan Electric, which starts at $80,300, but faces a cheaper rival in the Volvo EX60, starting at $59,795. Volvo is leasing the EX60 P10 Plus at $649 per month for 36 months with $6,389 due at signing. With the same down payment, the iX3 would cost about $820 per month, or $171 more. All three automakers' current offers expire September 30.
