BYD has announced three distinct electric vehicles in the same week, covering very different parts of the market. The upgraded Yuan Up, sold overseas as the Atto 2, gains more range while starting at about $11,000. At the other end, the Denza N8L EV is positioned as a smart luxury SUV with a claimed 960 km of range and a price around $45,000.

In between, BYD launched the Formula S series under its Fang Cheng Bao brand, with an electric sedan starting at under $29,000. Electrek notes that this undercuts the Tesla Model 3. The series also includes a GT model, though the sedan is the entry point.

The three reports are separate product announcements, but they align on a broader point: BYD is rapidly filling out its lineup across price tiers, from budget city cars to high-end SUVs. The sources differ mainly in segment and positioning, not in the overall picture of aggressive EV expansion.
