EcoFlow has introduced the Titan 5000, a three-model residential battery lineup that starts with a single 5 kWh lithium iron phosphate module and can be expanded to 30 kWh. The company says the smaller configuration can keep a refrigerator, lights, Wi-Fi, phones, and laptops running during an outage. At the top end, EcoFlow estimates 30 kWh is enough for an average US home to run for two days without grid power, assuming the HVAC system is turned off and energy use is kept low.
The three models differ mainly in inverter output and solar integration. The Titan 5000 Classic delivers 4 kW of 120V power. The Titan 5000 and Titan 5000 Plus both provide 7.2 kW continuous power with 120V/240V split-phase output, and the Plus can reach 10 kW peak when paired with solar through EcoFlow's X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost technology. The two higher models can also connect to the Smart Home Panel 10, which EcoFlow says lets homeowners add backup power without replacing their main electrical panel.
EcoFlow is now taking $50 pre-payments for early-bird bundle deals, with savings up to $2,999 at the official release in November. The report is based solely on EcoFlow's announcement, so its claims are not independently verified.
