Green Water & Power (GWP) and Autel Energy say they have energized their 10,000th electric vehicle charging port, roughly three years after beginning a nationwide rollout of Level 2 chargers in 2023. That works out to nearly 10 chargers coming online each day over the period.
The companies stress that speed matters less than reliability. GWP president Danny Gold says property owners and drivers care that the charger in front of them works every time, while Autel CEO Michelle Luo credits the partnership with showing how dependable technology and strong execution can accelerate EV adoption nationwide.
According to GWP, the network has delivered 16.6 million kWh to date, maintained an average uptime of 99.72%, and displaced more than 22,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions. The company is contracted to install over 3,000 additional Level 2 chargers and more than 100 DC fast chargers in the coming months.
