The M/B Dalaray, the Philippines' first locally designed and built electric passenger ferry, is now in regular service on the Pasig River in Metro Manila. Developed by engineers at a Philippine university, the vessel has carried thousands of passengers since its launch, according to CleanTechnica.

Previously a demonstration project, the ferry now operates as a working part of the city's water transport. Its progress shows that locally developed electric vessels can move from prototype to practical use, offering a cleaner alternative for commuters on the river.
