Electrek notes the Silverado EV's onboard output ranges from 7.2 to 10.2 kW depending on trim, enough for audio and lighting but not for cooking equipment. That's why the kitchen needed the separate 150 kWh unit. The trucks and power plant were recharged on Quebec's grid, which Hydro-Québec says is over 99% renewable, mostly hydro.
