Renault has unveiled the E-Space Concept at the Paris Motor Show, a modern electric take on the original Espace minivan from 1984. The company frames the concept as a real alternative to the SUVs and saloons that dominate the market, with a lower stance, smooth lines, and a roof spoiler that recall earlier Espace models.

The MPV measures 4,700 mm long, 2,020 mm wide, and 1,670 mm tall, placing it close to the Kia PV5 Passenger and the VW ID. Buzz short-wheelbase. Inside, the concept seats six in individual rotating chairs on a flat floor, with second-row seats able to swivel 180 degrees to face the third row. A fully glazed cabin, pillar-to-pillar display, and steer-by-wire steering are among the modern features.

Renault did not say whether or when the E-Space Concept will reach production, but described it as a contemporary retake on family mobility in the electric age. For now, it remains a design study outlining the company's vision for future electric people movers.
