Waymo is now offering a $2.85 credit to riders who pair a Waymo trip with public transit, expanding a pilot program it previously ran in two cities. The credit applies automatically when a ride is combined with a transit leg, according to the company.
The offer is currently available only to Visa cardholders. Waymo has not said when or whether other payment methods will be included in the program.
The expansion signals a broader rollout of the incentive, though the payment restriction remains a notable limitation for now.
