Yadea, the Chinese electric two-wheeler giant that Electrek calls the world's largest EV company, has announced a partnership with an African electric motorcycle company. Yadea has sold more than 100 million vehicles globally, giving it enormous manufacturing scale.

The partnership is notable because it brings together Chinese production capacity with homegrown African battery-swapping infrastructure. That combination could help address one of the biggest practical challenges for electric motorcycles in Africa: keeping vehicles charged and on the road.

Electrek reports the move is likely to shake up Africa's electric motorcycle market, though it does not name the African partner or provide financial details. With manufacturing scale on one side and local charging know-how on the other, the collaboration could accelerate the shift to electric two-wheelers across the continent.
