When a Tom's Hardware writer needed a keyboard quickly for testing an Nvidia GB10 system, they grabbed the Epomaker x Aula F75 Pro on Amazon for $65 with same-day delivery. The board offers a 75% layout, a volume knob, and wired, 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth connectivity, plus hot-swap sockets for future modding.
The biggest surprise is the Leobog Reaper switches. They come pre-lubed and are light linear switches with a 45g actuation force. The writer reports no wobble or grit in the key strokes, and a pleasant high-pitched thock from the five-layer dampening inside the chassis. In a MonkeyType test, they hit 107 wpm with 99% accuracy.
The main compromise is the outer plastic shell, which feels cut-rate compared to pricier boards. The writer also notes the volume knob occupies a spot where a dedicated Home key might be preferable, and some Fn combos require the included cheat card. Still, they concluded that the typing experience is far better than expected for the price, and no extra software is required for daily use.
