According to Tom's Hardware, Walmart is selling the Acer Nitro ED0 (EDT340CUR) gaming monitor for $189, down from $249.99. That is a 24% saving on a 34-inch ultrawide panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1500R curve, making it a strong budget option for a primary or secondary gaming display.
The monitor offers a 3440 x 1440 QHD resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms gray-to-gray response time. Brightness is rated at 250 nits, which the source says should be adequate for most indoor use. Connectivity includes one DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing simultaneous hookup of a PC and consoles without swapping cables.
A 100 x 100 VESA mounting pattern is also included for wall or arm mounting. Tom's Hardware describes the deal as very hard to beat at this size and resolution, and recommends it for anyone looking to upgrade a PC or console setup on a budget.
