ASML, the Dutch supplier of lithography systems, reported a record quarter with $13 billion in revenue. The company also said it would expand production capacity, citing sustained demand for its equipment.

Demand is running so far ahead that customers are already seeking to lock in orders for 2030. ASML expects demand to exceed available supply in 2027 and 2028, pushing buyers to plan further out.

The capacity expansion is a response to that pressure. ASML's record earnings and profitability give it room to invest in additional manufacturing output.
