Tom's Hardware reports that BiWin's CL 100 Mini is a compact NVMe SSD designed for handheld gaming devices. Measuring just 15 x 17 mm, it is roughly the size of a microSD card and slots into dedicated ports on certain OneXPlayer consoles and the GPD Win5, avoiding the need to open the device or handle small M.2 screws.

Despite its size, the drive uses a standard NVMe 1.4 interface over PCIe 4.0, with a Silicon Motion SM2268XT2 controller and a single Samsung V8 TLC NAND package. Sequential speeds are rated at 3700 MB/s reads and 3400 MB/s writes, which the outlet notes is more than adequate for gaming. That compares favorably to the larger M.2 2230 drives used in devices like the Steam Deck.

BiWin also sells a USB-C reader that caps throughput at around 3000 MB/s. Pricing starts at €139.99 for 512 GB and €259.99 for 1 TB, roughly in line with comparable M.2 2230 drives; a 2 TB version is listed at €699.99 from third-party sellers. The reader costs €79.99.
