ServeTheHome's review of the Dell Pro 5 16 focuses on the AMD version of Dell's mainstream 16-inch business laptop. The unit tested comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 470 processor, and the review describes the machine as hitting the high notes for its intended audience.
A central theme is modularity: the laptop is designed to be easy to service and upgrade, which matters for business deployments. The review also highlights a good balance among chassis size, weight, and everyday performance, suggesting the Pro 5 16 is a well-rounded option rather than a niche or specialist device.
Since there is only one source in this roundup, there are no differing opinions to compare. ServeTheHome's assessment is broadly positive, with the main caveats implied by its positioning as a mainstream business laptop rather than a premium or high-performance workstation.
