ASML's TWINSCAN EXE:5000 Lego kit, launched in December 2024, is normally reserved for employees; the company even canceled orders from non-employees. That scarcity has pushed resale prices on eBay to $500-$700, well above the $230 official price.

Now a fan recreation is available. Rebrickable user NightHawk11991 built a modified version based on photos of the real machine, adding vacuum pumps, a laser emitter, reflectors, and a sliding silicon wafer tray. The MOC uses 152 unique part types and 810 total bricks, and the designer says it took about a week to complete.

Free PDF instructions are posted on Rebrickable, along with a full parts list. Some pieces are rare and may need to be sourced separately. The same X user who shared the build previously traded an official ASML Lego kit for a rare ASML Monopoly board, highlighting the collector appeal of company-commissioned semiconductor merch.
