According to Tom's Hardware, the Fanttik T1 Max wireless soldering iron kit is available at Amazon for $52.99, a new record-low price. That is 34% off the usual $79.99. The kit is pitched at beginners and includes everything needed to start soldering except solder and a workpiece.
The iron runs on a built-in 2600mAh battery at 12W, or can be used wired via USB-C at up to 16W. Tom's Hardware's testing found it reaches 350°C in 12.14 seconds and can go up to 450°C. Temperature is set with a dial offering six levels, and it uses C210 tips; several tips are included in the stand.
The kit also includes an aluminum stand with a damp sponge spot and auto shutoff after a few minutes. The review notes the handle is fairly large, so smaller hands may prefer a different model. Tom's Hardware says the sale price is likely temporary as Prime deals end soon.
