A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly selling 3D-printed devices that convert semi-automatic pistols into fully automatic weapons. According to Tom's Hardware, Emani Rey Justavino of Jacksonville sold more than 50 of these parts, known as "Glock switches," to undercover law enforcement officers at $50 each.

The suspect told authorities that he printed the entire batch overnight using a 3D printer and offered the undercover buyers a discount. The claim has not been independently verified, but the case illustrates how accessible desktop 3D printing has become for producing firearm components and conversion kits.

Glock switches are small attachments that allow a pistol to fire continuously while the trigger is held. The arrest underscores the challenge facing law enforcement as inexpensive, printable parts make it easier to modify standard firearms into machine guns.
