A leaked SKU table for Intel's upcoming Nova Lake desktop CPUs reportedly lists seven models, three of which carry the "BFC" tag. Tom's Hardware notes that BFC appears to be Intel's branding for bLLC, or big last level cache, a feature long rumored to arrive with Nova Lake as a counter to AMD's X3D gaming chips.
The flagship part is the Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC, listed with 8 P-cores, 16 E-cores, and 4 LPE-cores, a 125W TDP, and a 32-EU integrated GPU. The BFC designation appears on two Core Ultra 9 models and one Core Ultra 7 model, but not on any Core Ultra 5. The Core Ultra 9 4900 BFC stands out: it matches the Core Ultra 5's 22-core count but adds BFC and drops to a 65W TDP, suggesting a specialized low-power gaming chip for small form factor desktops.
The table also shows a shift to four-number model identifiers, a change from Arrow Lake's naming scheme. The Core Ultra 5 4650KF is the only SKU without integrated graphics. Notably, the heavily rumored 52-core Nova Lake model is missing from this initial lineup, with the report suggesting it and other dual-tile parts will arrive later, likely targeting HEDT systems. As with all leaks, these names and specifications remain unconfirmed by Intel.
