Best Buy is selling the Lenovo Legion 5i 16-inch gaming laptop for $1,799.99, down from a $2,649.99 list price. Tom's Hardware flags the $850 discount as a 32% saving. The configuration pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor with Nvidia's mobile RTX 5070 GPU, which has 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, plus 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD.
The display is a 16-inch IPS panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. Connectivity includes USB-C DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, three USB-A ports, and Wi-Fi 7. The keyboard has RGB backlighting.
Lenovo rates the battery at roughly 4.7 hours of use, but Tom's Hardware notes that gaming on the discrete GPU can drain it quickly, so sustained gaming will likely require mains power. This report draws on a single source, so there are no conflicting claims to compare.
