A modder known as 0xProbability has combined two open-world games into one absurd demo: Minecraft running inside GTA V, with the whole stack on an iPhone. According to the source report, Claude Opus 5.5 wrote the code and tested it, letting the AI pilot the Ender Dragon around Los Santos while the human developer stayed hands-off.
The iPhone version of GTA V itself is credited to C22, an EPFL student. The port is based on a browser-adapted build of GTA V, wrapped as a native iOS app with multiplayer support. It requires iOS 15 or later (or macOS 14 on Apple silicon) and ideally 8GB of RAM; on an iPhone 17, the unmodified game reportedly sustains 50-60 FPS while using only 1.1GB of memory.
Before the iOS version, 0xProbability experimented with the same browser-based GTA V, adding Minecraft characters and block building. That earlier work prompted the developer to note how far web browsers have come. The source article includes a skeptical commenter who questions whether the Minecraft-on-GTA trick is more than a background demo, but the technical feat stands on its own as an example of AI-written mods meeting an unexpectedly capable mobile port.
