Elon Musk says SpaceXAI, the combined SpaceX and xAI company, will be renamed SpaceXSI. The change follows President Trump's September 29 executive order directing US federal agencies to replace "Artificial Intelligence" with "Super Intelligence" in official communications and non-statutory documents. Musk endorsed the shift on social media, writing "No more AI. SI. It's better," and said "Yes, we will make that change" when asked about renaming the company. He did not provide a date.

Trump's order does not force private companies to adopt the terminology, and Musk's move appears to be voluntary. The domain spacexsi.com is currently listed for sale, suggesting the rebrand may not be fully underway. Musk has a history of renaming companies: Twitter became X in July 2023, nine months after he acquired it. He also posted that "SpaceX is a super intelligence company," a statement that may surprise NASA, which has long worked with SpaceX on rockets.
