IEEE TryEngineering has introduced a new STEM book series, Tomorrow's Technology With TryEngineering, aimed at readers aged 8 to 12. Published through Lerner Publishing Group, the collection is designed to make complex technology topics approachable for young learners, according to IEEE Spectrum.
The six books cover a range of compute and hardware subjects, including semiconductors, signal processing, artificial intelligence, communication technology, electric vehicles, and ocean engineering. Each volume combines age-appropriate explanations with real-world examples and design challenges that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
The series builds on existing ebooks and videos available at tryengineering.org and was developed with several IEEE groups, including the Computer Society, Communications Society, and Oceanic Engineering Society. The books are available through Amazon, Bookshop, and Lerner.
