Amazon's October Prime Day, branded as Prime Big Deal Days, kicks off on Tuesday, October 6, but the deals are already rolling in. The event arrives at a time when PC component prices have been climbing, driven in part by demand from AI hyperscalers, so the discounts are being watched closely by anyone building or upgrading a rig. As with past sales, the event is exclusive to Prime members, though a free trial is enough to participate.

Among the standout early offers is Samsung's 9100 Pro 1TB SSD, a Gen5 drive rated up to 14,700 MB/s, now $249 at Amazon — only $10 more than the slower 990 Pro. Samsung's Odyssey G55C 32-inch curved QHD monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate is also back to its lowest-ever price of $189.99. On the audio side, Creative's Pebble Pro speakers have dropped to $59.99, a price not seen since April 2025.

Not all of the best deals are on Amazon itself. Newegg is selling Team Group's 4TB T-Force G50 EVO SSD for $385.99 after a coupon, which works out to about 9.4 cents per gigabyte — the best price yet for that model. Best Buy, meanwhile, has Corsair's 1000W RM1000e ATX 3.1 power supply at $109, its lowest price ever. The Tom's Hardware live coverage notes that some of these items haven't been tested yet, so shoppers should weigh specs and warranty details carefully.
