According to Tom's Hardware, MSI's Stealth A18 AI+ gaming laptop is on sale for $3,779, a $520.99 discount from its $4,299.99 list price. The machine pairs Nvidia's top mobile GPU, the RTX 5090, with AMD's 12-core Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 64GB of DDR5-5600, and a 2TB SSD. The 18-inch mini-LED display runs at 3,840 x 2,400 with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR1000, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
Tom's Hardware notes the laptop's RTX 5090 is not the same silicon as the desktop part: it has 10,496 CUDA cores, 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 256-bit bus, and a peak 175W TDP. The desktop RTX 5090 carries a 575W power rating and, for in-stock models, currently sells for over $7,000 by itself. That makes the complete laptop a cheaper route into top-end Blackwell gaming, even if the mobile GPU is power-limited.
The source sees the deal as strong value in today's market, arguing a similarly specced desktop PC could cost nearly twice as much. Since only one source was provided, there is no independent pricing data to compare against it.
