Newegg is selling AMD's Ryzen 7 9800X3D for $429 with promo code FTT7668, a $40 discount. The deal is not a bundle, and it includes a free MSI Coreliquid A13 240mm AIO and an AMD Onimusha game code, each valued at $69. It isn't the all-time low price, but it's a solid option for an AM5 upgrade without buying extra parts.
The 9800X3D is an 8-core/16-thread Zen 5 chip with a 4.6 GHz base clock, 5.2 GHz boost, and 96MB of L3 cache. Tom's Hardware calls it one of the fastest gaming CPUs it has tested, with strong performance outside games as well.
Newegg also has a newer, slightly faster Ryzen 7 X3D model at $469 with promo code FTTF7669 and the same freebies. Higher-end 16-core X3D chips are not discounted but still include the free cooler and game. For those already on AM5, this is a straightforward CPU upgrade without needing a new motherboard or RAM.
