SteelSeries Apex Pro keyboards are currently discounted at Amazon, with the biggest cut on the Apex Pro Mini (Gen 2) Wireless. That model drops from $239.99 to $119.99, a 50% saving of $120. The newer Apex Pro Mini (Gen 3) Wired is also reduced to $156.74, and the Apex Pro TKL (Gen 3) Wired sells for $199.99, down from $239.99.
All three keyboards use OmniPoint 3 analog magnetic switches, which let users adjust actuation from 0.1 to 4.0 mm. The Gen 3 models add features like Rapid Trigger, which resets a key as soon as it's lifted, and Rapid Tap, which prioritizes the most recent key press between two switches. Protection Mode reduces sensitivity around the active switch to cut accidental presses.
The TKL version includes extra keys, a clickable volume roller, and a customizable OLED display. SteelSeries keyboards also feature aluminum frames, per-key RGB, and ergonomic legs. Tom's Hardware notes that the Apex Pro Mini received its best mini gaming keyboard award, and the TKL earned a four-out-of-five review score. The discounts are available now, but the duration is unknown.
