Tom's Hardware reports that Amazon has cut the TP-Link Archer BE3600 to $79.98 ahead of its Big Deal Days event, a 33% discount from the $119.99 list price and the lowest price seen on Amazon to date. The deal is positioned as a budget-friendly way to add Wi-Fi 7 support to a home network.
The router has four antennas, one 2.5 Gbps WAN port, one 2.5 Gbps LAN port, three 1 Gbps ports, and a USB 3.0 port for connecting a printer or external storage. Tom's Hardware notes that setup via the web portal is straightforward and that performance on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands is strong.
The caveat is that the Archer BE3600 does not include the 6 GHz band, so it does not implement the full Wi-Fi 7 specification. The source still recommends it as an upgrade over an ISP-issued router or as a secondary repeater, and expects the price to return to normal after Amazon's sale ends.
