A custom PC builder has created a fully copper and wood machine that leans hard into steampunk styling, according to Tom's Hardware. The centerpiece is an upcycled blowtorch that has been repurposed as the liquid-cooling reservoir, giving the build an industrial, workshop-like character. The antique wooden pedestal reinforces the vintage look while supporting the all-metal chassis.
Underneath the period aesthetic, the system is thoroughly modern. It is built around a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an RX 9070 XT graphics card, making it a capable all-AMD gaming rig. The contrast between the old-fashioned exterior and the current-generation components is the defining feature of the project.
The report notes that the design evokes a collaboration between Edison and Stephenson, but the practical result is a functioning high-end PC. As a one-off custom build, it demonstrates how cooling components can be sourced from unexpected places without sacrificing performance.
