Police in Jersey have warned that scammers stole £180,000 from residents through Revolut-related fraud in a single four-week period. During that stretch, roughly three-quarters of all scam reports received by authorities involved the digital banking service, according to security journalist Graham Cluley.

Cluley points to scam phone calls as the apparent trigger for the wave. The report does not detail the exact scripts used, but the concentration of losses tied to one financial app stands out and highlights how fraudsters are increasingly targeting fintech customers.

The warning puts Revolut users on alert for unsolicited calls. Anyone contacted in this way should treat the call with suspicion and verify requests through official channels before taking action.
