Optro has expanded its GRC Intelligence Platform with a set of autonomous AI agents designed for enterprise risk teams. The agents operate within team-defined guardrails and risk appetites, and every action, decision, and evidence trail is logged and cited to support audit readiness. The company says the platform combines purpose-built governance, risk, and compliance capabilities with human oversight, letting teams move fast while keeping a person in control.
New capabilities include autonomous testing for operational audits, agentic stakeholder management to reduce evidence follow-up, risk assessment scoring with supporting evidence, continuous compliance across frameworks, vendor assessment workflows, and automated AI governance intake. The platform also previews AI Discovery, expected in 2027, which will surface shadow AI across the enterprise.
Customer results cited in the announcement include Reddit, whose internal audit team automated 175 controls in the first three months—more than 40 percent of its SOX scope—and cut average testing time per control by 60 percent. Klaviyo reports moving from point-in-time testing to year-round testing, catching issues earlier, while FJ Management says the platform lets it analyze workpapers automatically and maintain auditable, human-in-the-loop workflows.
