Qualys has introduced TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 with TruConfidence, an engine designed to orchestrate cyber risk remediation. The company frames it as a new category called Autonomous RemOps, responding to the shrinking window between vulnerability discovery and exploitation in the age of frontier AI.
The engine draws on data from half a billion patch deployments, with less than 0.1% rollback, and uses an AI-powered Patch Reliability Score to guide progressive rollouts. It also credits existing security controls to avoid duplicate fixes, and can apply compensating controls via third-party tools when a patch isn't available.
After remediation, the system monitors system health through integrations such as Dynatrace, watching for CPU spikes or memory issues. If a fix fails, Patch Failure Analysis explains why and recommends corrective action like rollback. Qualys CEO Sumedh Thakar says the hesitation around automation isn't about automation itself but confidence that it won't cause outages.
