Attackers are abusing a legitimate, signed copy of Siemens Software Center to deliver malware on Windows PCs. The campaign pairs the genuine installer with malicious DLLs, using ClickFix lures to trick users into running the malicious content.

Because the Siemens executable carries a valid signature, it may appear trustworthy to both users and security software. The malicious DLLs are what actually infect the machine, riding alongside a binary that is expected to be present and safe.

The use of ClickFix lures points to a social-engineering component: victims are steered toward executing the payload rather than being exploited through a technical flaw in the Siemens software itself. The vulnerability, as described, is in how the signed tool can be paired with attacker-controlled DLLs.
