Stellar Cyber has announced version 7.0 of its security operations platform, describing it as a shift from using AI to speed up analysts toward a practical operating model for autonomous SOCs. The release adds AI case analysis and automated triage at the case-queue level, allowing organizations to decide where autonomy should apply rather than treating every incident the same way.
A central addition is Case Metrics, which measures operational milestones such as the time from case creation to analyst acknowledgment and from creation to resolution. According to the company, this helps security leaders identify bottlenecks, assess whether automation is reducing investigation time, and track service-level improvements, particularly for MSSPs managing multiple customer environments.
The update also deepens investigative evidence with malware sandbox data, network payload visibility, and access to the original records behind correlation-based detections. Expanded integrations with tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Fortinet FortiGate, and Cybereason let teams move from investigation to containment without leaving the platform. New APIs for system administration and sensor lifecycle management aim to reduce manual work at scale.
The source is a vendor announcement and does not include independent validation. The claims reflect Stellar Cyber's positioning of 7.0 as a step toward outcomes-based security operations rather than a third-party assessment.
